Electric Motor Wheels are now being used by the BMW Mini Cooper lease plan implemented in December 2008.  The Electric motor wheels each produce 160 horsepower or a total of 640 horse power.  I plan to open an Electric Motor Car conversion business in the near future in Orlando Florida under the name Concept1.   I want to be able to convert gasoline and diesel vehicles (all makes and models, cars, trucks, vans, buses, recreational vehicles) into electric motor vehicles using the latest and safest products available.  I was correct in my prediction that the cost of fuel would drop to under $3.00 a gallon, (Predicted October 2008) and I also predict that it will again rise to over $4.00 a gallon by October 2009 as the stock piles of heavy gas hungry new vehicle inventories are depleted.  I have watched the auto industry go from absolutely no mention of the electric car to all of them coming out with their own (Concept) electric vehicles.... read more about emerging electric motor wheel vehicle technology

Electric Motor Wheels Concept1 shows a detailed drawing on the concept and should perform very well in all climate conditions with fast acceleration and good cruising highway speeds that meet or exceed the horsepower and torque of the ICE that is in your present vehicle.   Electric motors have only one moving part, they require minimal maintenance, they do not emit pollution, and they will outlast the life of the vehicle. Lithium Ion Iron Phosphate (LifeP04) battery packs have a long recharge cycle life, they do not produce a charge memory problem, and they are safe.   LifeBatt's version is expensive, but it does have a built in voltage management system and global tracking computer chip.  We hope that they will soon come out with a version that has lots of AMP HOURS in a high voltage of at least 36 VDC so that our Concept1 can be assembled.  We also like global tracking your EV battery for insurance and theft reasons.  It should cost less to insure because the location can always be known anywhere in the world.  I envision global tracking that would allow law enforcement to see the last 24 to 48 hours of a vehicles route on a detailed street map.
